The technical staff support faculty members in the laboratory and at sea, and is comprised of research associates, senior faculty research assistants and faculty research assistants. Armed with advanced degrees in a variety of fields and specialized training, technical staff members do most of the “heavy lifting” within the BO discipline. Whether it be processing samples to be run on specialized instrumentation or performing complex data analysis, technicians are the backbone of the College.
