| Barry and Ev Sherr are a research team in the field of Microbial Oceanography.
We are interested in the roles of heterotrophic microbes, bacteria and phagotrophic protists, in the ecology of marine pelagic ecosystems. We are currently carrying out research projects on bacterial activity and on distribution of microzooplankton off the coast of Oregon, and on the role of microzooplankton in pelagic food webs in the Arctic Ocean. |
